Product Introduction:

Actilyse 20 mg Injection is a thrombolytic agent formulated for dissolving blood clots. It is indicated for the treatment of stroke, pulmonary embolism, and prevention of heart attack. By breaking down the clot, it helps restore blood flow to the affected area.

ACTILYSE 20MG INJECTION is used for the lysis of blood clots to restore blood flow in the affected tissues or organs. It is used for the treatment of Acute Massive Pulmonary Embolism (PE) and Acute Ischemic Stroke (AIS). ACTILYSE 20MG INJECTION contains alteplase, which works by dissolving the blood clots that block the flow of blood to the affected tissue, thereby restoring blood flow and effectively treating various medical conditions. It has been proven to be an effective treatment option for both Acute Massive Pulmonary Embolism (PE) and Acute Ischemic Stroke (AIS). In both conditions, ACTILYSE 20MG INJECTION can be used for the lysis of blocked blood clots to restore normal blood flow in the affected tissue or organ.

Actilyse 20mg Injection is given directly into a vein by a doctor as soon as possible after the first signs of a heart attack, stroke, or pulmonary embolism are noticed. Your breathing, blood pressure, oxygen levels and other vital signs will be watched closely. You may be given another medicine to prevent the formation of new blood clots at the same time or after the treatment.

It should not be used in patients who have had genetic bleeding disorders, neoplasms (tumours), or any other cerebrovascular accident (a stroke or similar attack affecting the brain, often due to a clot or bleeding in a blood vessel in the brain) as it could cause the patient’s condition to worsen.

There are various reasons why Actilyse 20mg Injection is not used for everyone. Actilyse 20mg Injection should not be administered to those with a history of head injury, surgery involving the brain or spine, or any present bleeding. Your healthcare provider must be informed of your complete medical record before this medicine can be administered.
