Inaldin Gardło (Benzydamine Hydrochloride)

Benzydamine Hydrochloride is a locally acting NSAID used to manage inflammation of the oral cavity and pharynx.

• Sore throat (pharyngitis): reduces pain and swelling in the throat, improving comfort during swallowing.
• Mouth and throat inflammation: alleviates edema and discomfort of the oral mucosa.
• Oral mucosal irritation: soothes irritation caused by minor injuries, chemical irritants or dry mouth.

• Benzydamine Hydrochloride exerts its local anti‑inflammatory and analgesic activity by stabilising cell membranes, inhibiting the release of pro‑inflammatory cytokines and reducing prostaglandin synthesis at the site of application. These actions diminish nociceptor activation and edema, providing rapid symptomatic relief without significant systemic absorption.

Benzydamine Hydrochloride is generally well tolerated when applied locally, but some users may experience adverse reactions.

Common Side Effects

• Mild burning or stinging sensation at the site of application.
• Unpleasant taste or temporary alteration of taste perception.
• Local irritation or redness of the oral mucosa.
