Camzyos 5mg is a cardiac myosin inhibitor used in the treatment of hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. It is specifically indicated for the following conditions:

• Symptomatic obstructive hypertrophic cardiomyopathy: Improves functional capacity and symptoms in adults with NYHA class II-III obstructive HCM.

• Mavacamten works by selectively inhibiting cardiac myosin ATPase activity. By shifting the overall myosin population towards an energy-sparing, recruitable, super-relaxed state, mavacamten improves cardiac filling pressures and functional capacity in patients with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy.
