Serious

• Severe hyperglycemia leading to osmotic diuresis.
• Allergic or anaphylactic reaction to the solution.
• Electrolyte imbalance, particularly hyponatremia, if large volumes are infused rapidly.
• Risk of volume overload in patients with cardiac or renal impairment.

Glukoza Fresenius Kabi should be used with attention to patient‑specific factors and clinical setting to minimize risks and ensure safe administration.

• Assess blood glucose level before and during infusion, especially in diabetic or hypoglycaemic patients.
