Common

• Transient eye irritation or burning sensation.
• Redness of the conjunctiva.
• Mild itching or foreign‑body sensation.
• Temporary blurred vision.
• Mild eyelid edema.
• Dry eye sensation.
• Photophobia.

Serious

• Corneal ulceration or perforation.
• Severe allergic reaction with swelling of the eyelids and conjunctiva.
• Vision loss due to optic nerve involvement (rare).
• Persistent intraocular inflammation.
• Development of resistant bacterial strains (clinical concern).

Before prescribing Gramigut, clinicians should evaluate patient history and ocular condition to minimize risk.

• Avoid use in patients with known hypersensitivity to ofloxacin or other fluoroquinolones.
• Use with caution in individuals with a history of tendon disorders, although ocular exposure is low.
