Gribero is prescribed for adults with non‑valvular atrial fibrillation to prevent stroke, and for those being treated for or after an episode of deep vein thrombosis or pulmonary embolism.

Renal function should be evaluated before starting Gribero and monitored during treatment. Dose adjustments or alternative therapy may be needed for patients with moderate to severe renal impairment.

The safety of Gribero in pregnancy has not been established. It should only be used if the potential benefit justifies the potential risk to the fetus, under close medical supervision.

Routine monitoring of coagulation is not required, but renal function tests and occasional assessment of bleeding parameters may be performed as directed by a clinician.

A specific reversal agent, idarucizumab, is available for dabigatran and can be used in emergency situations to rapidly neutralize its anticoagulant effect.

Store Gribero tablets at room temperature, away from moisture and heat, and keep them out of reach of children.

Transitioning from warfarin to Gribero requires careful timing and may involve a brief overlap or a washout period, guided by a healthcare professional to maintain therapeutic anticoagulation.
