Common

• Mild vaginal irritation or burning
• Itching or pruritus at the application site
• Slight abnormal vaginal discharge
• Temporary dysuria

Serious

• Severe allergic reaction (e.g., rash, swelling, difficulty breathing)
• Persistent or worsening vaginal symptoms despite therapy
• Signs of secondary bacterial infection (fever, foul odor)
• Rare cases of hepatic enzyme elevation reported with extensive use
• Stevens‑Johnson syndrome (very rare)
