• Severe allergic reaction (e.g., rash, swelling, difficulty breathing)
• Abnormal heart rhythm (QT prolongation)

Before starting Heipram, certain health considerations should be reviewed with a health care provider to ensure safe use.

• History of bipolar disorder or mania, as SSRIs may trigger mood switching
• Existing cardiac conditions, especially those affecting QT interval
• Liver or kidney impairment, which may affect drug clearance
• Pregnancy or breastfeeding status, due to limited safety data
• Concomitant use of other serotonergic agents, increasing risk of serotonin syndrome
