Hexomedine Transdermal is indicated for topical antisepsis and for reducing the risk of infection in minor skin injuries. It is commonly employed in the following situations:

• Hexamidine diisetionate exerts its antiseptic activity by interacting with the phospholipid components of microbial cell membranes. This interaction disrupts membrane integrity, leading to increased permeability, leakage of intracellular contents, and ultimately cell death. The compound is effective against a range of Gram‑positive and Gram‑negative bacteria as well as certain fungi, providing broad‑spectrum topical antimicrobial protection.
