Homerdelik Gusto Fragola is indicated for several common bacterial infections treated in outpatient settings.

• Amoxicillin inhibits bacterial cell‑wall synthesis by binding to penicillin‑binding proteins, preventing cross‑linking of peptidoglycan strands. Clavulanic acid has little intrinsic antibacterial activity but acts as a suicide inhibitor of beta‑lactamase enzymes produced by resistant bacteria, thereby protecting amoxicillin from enzymatic degradation. The combined effect broadens the spectrum to include beta‑lactamase‑producing organisms, resulting in bactericidal activity against a wide range of Gram‑positive and Gram‑negative pathogens.
