Human Albumin Kedrion is indicated for clinical situations that require rapid plasma volume expansion and correction of low serum albumin levels.

• Human Albumin Kedrion provides exogenous albumin, the most abundant plasma protein, which contributes to oncotic pressure. By increasing the colloid osmotic gradient across the capillary membrane, the solution draws water from the interstitial space into the vascular compartment, thereby expanding intravascular volume. The added albumin also serves as a carrier for endogenous substances and helps maintain and support endothelial integrity.

Adverse reactions to Human Albumin Kedrion are generally related to the infusion process or the protein nature of the product.
