Humuline 30/70 Cartridge is indicated for the control of hyperglycemia in adults with diabetes.

• Type 1 diabetes mellitus requiring basal‑bolus insulin therapy.
• Type 2 diabetes mellitus when oral agents no longer provide adequate glycemic control.
• Adjunct to diet and exercise in patients needing both rapid‑acting and intermediate‑acting insulin.

• Humuline 30/70 delivers a mixture of soluble regular insulin and intermediate‑acting isophane insulin. The soluble component binds to insulin receptors on muscle and adipose cells, rapidly stimulating glucose uptake and suppressing hepatic glucose production. The isophane fraction forms microprecipitates that release insulin slowly, providing a prolonged basal effect. Together, the two fractions maintain post‑prandial and basal insulin levels, helping to lower circulating blood glucose.

Common
