Adverse reactions to intra‑articular Hyalgan are generally localized to the injection site, though systemic events can occur rarely.

Common

• Significant joint inflammation or effusion that necessitates medical evaluation.
• Systemic hypersensitivity manifesting as respiratory distress or cardiovascular symptoms.
