Hydrokortison Evolan is indicated for the topical treatment of several inflammatory skin disorders where reduction of redness, swelling, and itching is desired.

• Hydrokortison Evolan delivers hydrocortisone through the skin, where the molecule penetrates epidermal cells and binds to intracellular glucocorticoid receptors. This receptor complex translocates to the nucleus and interacts with glucocorticoid response elements, altering transcription of multiple genes. The resulting cascade suppresses pro‑inflammatory cytokine production, reduces leukocyte migration, and stabilizes lysosomal membranes, thereby providing anti‑inflammatory and immunosuppressive effects at the site of application.
