• Pain: Provides analgesic effect for mild to moderate pain, including headache, dental pain, menstrual cramps, and musculoskeletal aches.
• Fever: Produces antipyretic action that helps lower elevated body temperature caused by infections, inflammatory diseases, or postoperative states.
• Inflammation: Offers anti‑inflammatory benefit by reducing swelling, stiffness, and tenderness in conditions such as osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis flare‑ups, and soft‑tissue injuries.

• Ibuprofen exerts its effect by reversibly inhibiting both cyclooxygenase‑1 (COX‑1) and cyclooxygenase‑2 (COX‑2) enzymes. This non‑selective blockade reduces the conversion of arachidonic acid to prostaglandins and thromboxanes, thereby decreasing inflammation, pain signalling, and fever generation at the site of tissue injury.
