Ibulev Bambini (ibuprofen) acts on inflammatory pathways to reduce pain and fever in children.

• Ibuprofen exerts its effect by non‑selectively inhibiting cyclooxygenase‑1 (COX‑1) and cyclooxygenase‑2 (COX‑2) enzymes, which blocks the conversion of arachidonic acid to prostaglandins. The resulting reduction in prostaglandin synthesis diminishes peripheral sensitisation, fever generation in the hypothalamus, and inflammatory exudate formation, thereby providing analgesic, antipyretic and anti‑inflammatory actions.
