Ibumax (Ibuprofen)

• Ibuprofen acts systemically to reduce inflammation, pain and fever across several common conditions.
• Mild to moderate pain: provides analgesia for headaches, dental pain, musculoskeletal aches.
• Fever: lowers elevated body temperature in acute febrile illnesses.
• Arthritis and other inflammatory conditions: decreases joint swelling and improves mobility in osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis.

• Ibuprofen non‑selectively inhibits cyclooxygenase‑1 (COX‑1) and cyclooxygenase‑2 (COX‑2) enzymes, which blocks the conversion of arachidonic acid to prostaglandins. Reduced prostaglandin synthesis diminishes inflammation, pain signaling, and fever generation at the site of tissue injury or infection.

• Avoid in known hypersensitivity: discontinue if rash, swelling or breathing difficulty occurs.
• Store at ambient temperature: keep in the original container, protect from moisture and heat.

Major Interactions (Avoid)
