Nurofen Junior Appelsín (Ibuprofen)

Nurofen Junior Appelsín contains ibuprofen, an NSAID that reduces inflammation and pain through prostaglandin inhibition. It is commonly used in pediatric care for:

• Ibuprofen inhibits cyclo‑oxygenase (COX‑1 and COX‑2) enzymes, decreasing the synthesis of prostaglandins that mediate inflammation, pain and fever. This reduction in prostaglandin levels leads to diminished peripheral sensitisation and central fever signaling, providing analgesic and antipyretic effects.
