Ibuprofeno Odipe (Ibuprofen)

Ibuprofen acts systemically to alleviate pain, lower fever, and reduce inflammation associated with musculoskeletal and rheumatic disorders.

• Mild to moderate pain: provides analgesia for headaches, dental pain, menstrual cramps and musculoskeletal aches.
• Fever: lowers elevated body temperature in acute febrile illnesses.
• Osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis: diminishes joint inflammation and improves functional mobility.

• Ibuprofen reversibly inhibits cyclooxygenase‑1 (COX‑1) and cyclooxygenase‑2 (COX‑2) enzymes, decreasing the conversion of arachidonic acid to prostaglandins. Reduced prostaglandin synthesis leads to diminished inflammation, pain signaling, and fever generation at peripheral and central sites.

Adverse reactions may range from mild, transient symptoms to serious, potentially life‑threatening events.
