Imatinib Zentiva is used to target malignant cells driven by specific tyrosine kinase pathways in several hematologic and solid tumours.

• Imatinib mesilate selectively inhibits the BCR‑ABL fusion protein tyrosine kinase, as well as the related c‑KIT and platelet‑derived growth factor receptor (PDGFR) kinases.
