Imazol Plus (Clotrimazole, Hexamidine Diisetionate)

Imazol Plus combines antifungal and antiseptic activity to address common superficial skin infections.

• Dermatophyte skin infections (e.g., tinea pedis, tinea cruris): reduces fungal growth and relieves itching and scaling.
• Candidal skin infections: eradicates superficial Candida species and promotes healing of affected areas.
• Superficial bacterial skin infections: provides antiseptic action that limits bacterial colonisation and supports recovery.

• Clotrimazole inhibits the fungal enzyme lanosterol 14‑α‑demethylase, blocking ergosterol synthesis and compromising cell membrane integrity. Hexamidine diisetionate disrupts microbial cell membranes, leading to leakage of intracellular contents and providing broad‑spectrum antiseptic activity against bacteria and yeasts. The combined actions result in rapid reduction of pathogenic organisms on the skin surface.

Imazol Plus is generally well tolerated, but local skin reactions can occur.
