• Immunate supplies exogenous human factor VIII and von Willebrand factor, which bind to platelet glycoprotein Ib and stabilize factor VIII in circulation. The restored von Willebrand factor enhances platelet adhesion to subendothelial collagen, while factor VIII participates in the intrinsic pathway of the coagulation cascade, enabling generation of thrombin and formation of a stable fibrin clot.
