Immunohbs, a human hepatitis B immunoglobulin, is used in the antiviral pathway to prevent HBV infection.

• Human hepatitis B immunoglobulin consists of purified anti‑HBs antibodies derived from pooled human plasma. After intramuscular injection, the antibodies circulate and bind hepatitis B surface antigen, neutralizing the virus and preventing its entry into hepatocytes. This passive immunization blocks viral replication until active immunity from vaccination can develop, offering short‑term protection against HBV infection.
