Indolgen (Chlorphenamine Maleate, Phenylephrine Bitartrate, Paracetamol)

Indolgen combines an antihistamine, a decongestant and an analgesic/antipyretic to address common cold and flu symptoms.

• Nasal congestion: reduces swelling of nasal passages and eases breathing.
• Sneezing, runny nose, itchy eyes: alleviates these allergic‑type symptoms associated with colds.
• Headache, fever, minor aches: lowers temperature and relieves pain linked to upper respiratory infections.

• Chlorphenamine maleate blocks H1 histamine receptors, reducing allergic responses such as itching and sneezing. Phenylephrine bitartrate acts as an alpha‑adrenergic agonist, causing vasoconstriction of nasal mucosal vessels and decreasing congestion. Paracetamol inhibits central prostaglandin synthesis, providing analgesic and antipyretic effects without significant anti‑inflammatory activity.

Indolgen may cause adverse reactions typical of its component drugs.
