Insuman Rapid (Insulin Human)

Insuman Rapid is a rapid‑acting insulin used to control blood glucose in diabetes mellitus.

• Pre‑operative hyperglycemia: helps achieve target glucose concentrations before surgery.

• Insulin human binds to insulin receptors on muscle, adipose and hepatic cells, activating the receptor’s tyrosine kinase activity. This triggers intracellular signaling that promotes glucose uptake, glycogen synthesis and lipogenesis while inhibiting hepatic gluconeogenesis, thereby lowering plasma glucose concentrations.
