• Iodio Zeta releases free iodine upon contact with skin. The elemental iodine penetrates microbial cell walls and oxidizes essential proteins, enzymes and nucleic acids, disrupting metabolic pathways and causing irreversible cell damage. This broad‑spectrum action leads to rapid death of bacteria, viruses and fungi, providing effective antisepsis without reliance on specific receptors. The reaction is localized and the iodine quickly reverts to iodide, minimizing systemic absorption.
