Iomeron (Iomeprol)

• Iomeprol contains a high density of iodine atoms that strongly absorb X‑ray photons. When administered intra‑vascularly or intra‑articularly, the iodine atoms increase the radiodensity of the blood or joint space, creating a contrast between the enhanced area and surrounding tissues. This differential attenuation allows imaging systems to generate clearer images of vascular structures, organ parenchyma, and joint components during angiography, CT and related procedures.
