Ipam (Indapamide, Amlodipine Besilate, Perindopril Arginine)

The three components act on different pathways: perindopril blocks the angiotensin‑converting enzyme, reducing vasoconstriction; amlodipine besilate inhibits calcium influx into vascular smooth muscle, causing vasodilation; and indapamide promotes sodium and water excretion as a thiazide‑like diuretic. Together they lower peripheral resistance and plasma volume, resulting in reduced arterial pressure.

Safety of Ipam in pregnancy or lactation has not been established.
