Iqymune (Human Normal Immunoglobulin)

Iqymune is an intravenous immunoglobulin used to replace deficient antibodies and modulate immune activity in several clinical conditions.

• Primary immunodeficiency diseases: restores IgG levels to reduce infection frequency.
• Secondary immunodeficiency (e.g., after chemotherapy): provides passive immunity to protect against opportunistic infections.

• Human Normal Immunoglobulin supplies a broad spectrum of pooled IgG antibodies that bind to pathogens and toxins, neutralizing them and facilitating opsonization. Common Side Effects

• Headache: mild to moderate, often transient.

• Infusion site reactions: redness, swelling, or discomfort.

Serious or Rare Side Effects

• Hemolysis: destruction of red blood cells leading to anemia.
