Jaydess is a levonorgestrel‑based intrauterine system that acts within the hormonal contraceptive class. It is indicated for:

• Levonorgestrel released from the intrauterine system binds to progesterone receptors in the endometrium and cervical mucus glands. This suppresses ovulation, thickens cervical mucus to impede sperm passage, and induces endometrial atrophy, creating an environment that prevents implantation of a fertilized egg.
