Kalpress Plus Forte combines an ARB and a thiazide diuretic to treat hypertension, a major cardiovascular risk factor.

• Hypertension: lowers systolic and diastolic blood pressure, helping to reduce the risk of stroke and heart attack.

• Valsartan selectively blocks AT1 receptors, preventing angiotensin II from causing vasoconstriction and aldosterone release, which reduces peripheral resistance. Hydrochlorothiazide inhibits sodium‑chloride reabsorption in the distal convoluted tubule, increasing urinary excretion of water and electrolytes, thereby decreasing plasma volume and further lowering blood pressure.
