Kapake (Paracetamol, Codeine Phosphate Hemihydrate)

Kapake, a combination analgesic, is indicated for conditions where pain or fever requires stronger relief than paracetamol alone.

Codeine phosphate hemihydrate is a prodrug metabolised by hepatic CYP2D6 to morphine, which binds µ‑opioid receptors in the central nervous system, augmenting pain relief through opioid pathways.
