Kcl-Retard (Potassium Chloride)

Kcl‑Retard is used to correct low potassium levels and support electrolyte balance in several clinical situations.

• Potassium Chloride dissociates in the gastrointestinal tract to release potassium ions (K+). The absorbed K+ enters the extracellular fluid, raising serum potassium and re‑establishing the electrochemical gradient required for normal nerve impulse transmission, muscle contraction, and cardiac electrophysiology.
