Ketesse (Dexketoprofen)

Dexketoprofen acts as an NSAID to manage pain and inflammation across several clinical settings.

• Dexketoprofen exerts its effect by non‑selectively inhibiting cyclooxygenase enzymes COX‑1 and COX‑2, which blocks the conversion of arachidonic acid to prostaglandins. The reduction in prostaglandin synthesis diminishes peripheral sensitisation of nociceptors, leading to decreased pain perception and reduced inflammatory responses at the site of injury.

Adverse reactions may occur with any NSAID therapy and should be monitored.
