Lalide (Nimesulide)

Nimesulide is indicated for conditions that involve pain, inflammation or fever, acting through COX‑2 inhibition to reduce prostaglandin‑mediated symptoms.

• Nimesulide selectively inhibits the cyclooxygenase‑2 (COX‑2) enzyme, which is responsible for converting arachidonic acid to prostaglandins involved in inflammation, pain signaling, and fever generation.
