Lendin Neo (Bilastine)

Bilastine is a second‑generation H1 antihistamine used to manage allergic conditions by blocking peripheral H1 receptors.

• Allergic rhinitis: Reduces nasal congestion, itching, sneezing and rhinorrhea associated with seasonal or perennial allergens.
• Chronic idiopathic urticaria: Decreases the frequency and severity of hives and associated itching in patients with persistent spontaneous urticaria.

• Bilastine selectively antagonizes peripheral H1 receptors, preventing histamine from binding and thereby inhibiting histamine‑induced vascular permeability and sensory nerve stimulation. The compound has limited ability to cross the blood‑brain barrier, which minimizes central nervous system effects such as sedation.

Bilastine is generally well tolerated, but adverse reactions can occur.

Common Side Effects
