Levact (Bendamustine Hydrochloride)

Levact (bendamustine hydrochloride) is used in the management of mature B‑cell malignancies.

• Bendamustine hydrochloride alkylates DNA by forming intra‑ and interstrand cross‑links, which block DNA replication and transcription. The resulting DNA damage triggers cell‑cycle arrest and activates apoptotic pathways, leading to selective death of rapidly proliferating malignant lymphocytes while sparing most normal cells.
