Lidbree (Lidocaine)

Lidocaine is a local anesthetic used to achieve numbness in intrauterine procedures.

• Lidocaine blocks voltage‑gated sodium channels on neuronal membranes, preventing the initiation and propagation of action potentials. By stabilizing the neuronal membrane and inhibiting sodium influx, it interrupts nerve impulse conduction, resulting in reversible loss of sensation in the targeted area without affecting surrounding tissues.
