Milpaton-A is a retinoid that acts on skin cell differentiation and vitamin A pathways.

• Retinol Palmitate is hydrolyzed in the skin to retinol, which is then oxidized to retinoic acid. Retinoic acid binds to nuclear retinoic acid receptors (RARs) and retinoid X receptors (RXRs), modulating gene transcription that influences cell differentiation, proliferation, and keratinocyte maturation, thereby improving skin barrier function and appearance.
