Nurofen Fastine Liquid Caps is an ibuprofen product that acts on inflammatory pathways to provide symptomatic relief in several common conditions.

• Musculoskeletal pain: eases aches associated with strains, sprains and minor joint inflammation.

• Ibuprofen inhibits cyclo‑oxygenase (COX‑1 and COX‑2) enzymes, decreasing the conversion of arachidonic acid to prostaglandins. Reduced prostaglandin synthesis leads to diminished inflammation, pain signalling and fever generation at peripheral tissues and within the hypothalamic thermoregulatory centre.
