Octaplaslg is a plasma‑derived hemostatic agent used in clinical situations that require rapid restoration of multiple clotting factors.

After intravenous infusion, these factors replace deficient or consumed coagulation proteins, enabling the intrinsic and extrinsic pathways to generate thrombin and form a stable fibrin clot, thereby restoring hemostasis.
