Odnatron (Ondansetron Hydrochloride)

Odnatron is a 5‑HT3 receptor antagonist used in the management of nausea and vomiting pathways.

• Ondansetron Hydrochloride blocks the serotonin 5‑HT3 receptors located in the central nervous system and on vagal nerve terminals. By antagonizing these receptors, it inhibits the transmission of emetic signals from the gastrointestinal tract to the brain’s vomiting centre, thereby reducing the sensation of nausea and the act of vomiting.
