Olopatadine Misom (Olopatadine)

Olopatadine Misom is an antihistamine that acts on ocular allergic pathways to relieve symptoms of eye allergy.

• Olopatadine is a selective histamine H1‑receptor antagonist that also stabilises mast cells, preventing the release of histamine and other inflammatory mediators. By blocking H1 receptors on conjunctival cells, it reduces vasodilation, itching and swelling associated with allergic eye reactions.

Olopatadine Misom may cause a range of ocular and systemic reactions.

Common Side Effects

• Burning sensation: Mild transient burning upon instillation.
• Stinging: Temporary stinging feeling in the eye.
