Ondansetron Accordpharma is a selective 5‑HT3 receptor antagonist used to manage nausea and vomiting pathways in several clinical settings.

• Chemotherapy‑induced nausea and vomiting: Reduces the frequency and severity of acute and delayed episodes.
• Radiation‑induced nausea and vomiting: Helps control nausea during and after radiotherapy.
• Post‑operative nausea and vomiting: Prevents vomiting following surgical procedures.
• Pregnancy‑related hyperemesis gravis: Alleviates severe nausea and vomiting when other treatments are insufficient.
• Anticipatory nausea: Decreases nausea that occurs before chemotherapy in patients with previous experience.

• Ondansetron blocks the action of serotonin at the 5‑HT3 receptors located in the chemoreceptor trigger zone and gastrointestinal tract.
