• Sodium Cromoglicate stabilises the membranes of ocular mast cells, inhibiting calcium influx and preventing the release of histamine, leukotrienes and other inflammatory mediators. By blocking this cascade, it reduces the allergic response in the conjunctiva and surrounding ocular tissues.
