Indications & Clinical Uses

Orebriton is indicated for antiplatelet therapy in cardiovascular disease pathways.

  • Acute coronary syndrome (ACS): Reduces the risk of cardiovascular death, myocardial infarction and stroke.
  • Post‑myocardial infarction secondary prevention: Decreases the likelihood of recurrent ischemic events.
  • Long‑term secondary prevention after a prior myocardial infarction: Helps maintain arterial patency and lowers future event rates.

How It Works

  • Ticagrelor reversibly binds to the platelet P2Y12 ADP receptor, blocking ADP‑mediated activation of the G‑protein‑coupled signaling cascade.
