Orocalm Forte (Benzydamine Hydrochloride)

Orocalm Forte is a topical anti‑inflammatory and analgesic that acts on inflamed oral tissues.

• Sore throat: provides symptomatic relief of pain and irritation.
• Oral mucosal inflammation: reduces redness and swelling.
• Mouth ulcers: promotes comfort and may aid healing by decreasing local inflammation.

• Benzydamine hydrochloride exerts its effect by inhibiting the synthesis of pro‑inflammatory cytokines and stabilising cell membranes at the site of application. This local action reduces the release of histamine and other mediators, delivering analgesic, anti‑inflammatory and mild antiseptic effects without significant systemic absorption.

Benzydamine hydrochloride is generally well tolerated when applied to the oral mucosa.

Serious or Rare Side Effects
