Ositab 80MG (Osimertinib Tablet) 80 mg

Ositab 80MG is an EGFR tyrosine kinase inhibitor used in the treatment of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC).

• EGFR T790M mutation-positive NSCLC: Used in patients whose disease has progressed on or after EGFR tyrosine kinase inhibitor (TKI) therapy.
• Metastatic NSCLC: Indicated for patients with EGFR exon 19 deletions or exon 21 L858R mutations.
• Adjuvant treatment: Used post-surgery in patients with EGFR-mutated NSCLC to reduce the risk of disease recurrence.

• Osimertinib works by irreversibly inhibiting the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) signaling, including mutant forms such as T790M. This inhibition blocks the autophosphorylation and downstream signaling pathways, including RAS/RAF/MEK/ERK and PI3K/AKT, leading to reduced cell proliferation and induction of apoptosis in EGFR-mutant tumor cells.
