Oslif Breezhaler (Indacaterol)

Indacaterol is a long‑acting bronchodilator that acts on the airways of patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).

• Indacaterol selectively stimulates β2‑adrenergic receptors on airway smooth‑muscle cells, activating adenylate cyclase and increasing cyclic AMP levels. The rise in cAMP leads to relaxation of bronchial smooth muscle, producing sustained bronchodilation that improves airflow in the lungs of patients with COPD.
