Hansamedic Wärmepflaster is indicated for temporary relief of mild to moderate musculoskeletal discomfort.

• Joint pain from osteoarthritis or minor injuries.

• Arthritic pain in hands, knees, or elbows.
• Minor discomfort after physical activity or sports.

Topical application of capsaicin may cause local skin reactions, most of which are mild and transient.

Common

• Burning or stinging sensation at the application site.
• Redness or erythema.
• Warmth or tingling feeling.
• Mild itching.

Serious

• Severe allergic dermatitis with swelling.
• Blister formation or skin ulceration.
• Persistent pain that worsens after use.

Before using Hansamedic Wärmepflaster, consider the following safety measures to minimize adverse reactions.

• Do not apply to broken, irritated, or infected skin.
• Avoid contact with eyes, mucous membranes, or open wounds.
• Keep the patch away from children and pets.
• Discontinue use if severe skin irritation occurs.
• Wash hands after handling the patch.
• Do not use under heat sources such as heating pads.

Capsaicin patches have limited systemic absorption, but certain substances may affect skin tolerance or increase irritation.

Avoid

• Concurrent use of other topical irritants such as menthol or camphor.
• Application of strong chemical peels or exfoliants on the same area.

Use with caution
